Behind the Magic
Born in Lima, Peru, and currently based in Boston, Alonso has devoted over a decade of his life to the exploration and mastery of the art and science of magic. At 18, he became the first foreign magician ever accepted into the Junior Society of the Academy of Magical Arts, where he performs at the world-famous Magic Castle in Los Angeles.
Elegant. Minimalist. Deeply theatrical. Alonso's performances don't simply astonish — they invite logic to step aside and let something deeper take over. For him, magic is not simply the art of deception. It is a philosophy, a way of life, and above all, a theatrical human experience that inspires wonder, sparks curiosity, and leaves memories that refuse to fade.
His mission is simple, if not easy: to give back to the art that has shaped him by pursuing magic at the highest possible standard. And to push it further by drawing from his passion for psychology, music, and cinema to forge a singular artistic experience. By following his most authentic path, he aims to leave every audience with something they cannot quite define — but will carry with them long after the show is over.
